Greetings Detective,
You have been assigned to a missing persons case located within a
southern province of luzon. A citizen, who claims to be the victim's
neighbor, reported that the victim has not been sighted in over two weeks.
As to why the Philippines Behavioral Analysis Unit (PBAU) is receiving a
missing persons case instead of the Philippine National Police, the victim's disappearance
bears a striking resemblance to last months garaddo case, another previous missing
persons investigation that took place WITHIN THE SAME STREET AS THIS ONE.
we believe that these two victims are linked with the potential of
foul play involved. WE BELIEVE THAT YOUR history in detective work are
much more suited in solving this investigation.

CASE 1111: Ophelia Dela Cruz
Age: 20 years old

Case Description:
Ophelia Dela Cruz, a college student who lives alone in a house
located in Tanauan Batangas City, was reported missing by his neighbor. While
the report claims that Ophelia has been missing for over 2 weeks,
neighbors have stated being awoken by screams coming from Ophelia's home despite
the Police finding no evidence of anyone living within the home since
their disappearance.
The only physical evidence the police were able to find were locked
zip files found in Ophelia's computer, a torn up diary, and gardening tools
with some rose petals found around the garden. The police have also
attempted to gather and retype all the evidence found in the diary
to ensure accessibility and legibility.

A little bit about us
We are a group of four project developers with the goal of
creating an interactive multimedia project that allows users to experience an original,
surrealistic horror story through a web comic whilst challenging analytical and decoding
skills through an alternate reality game (ARG).
This project is based on our thesis in an attempt to challenge
a core issue we found regarding Filipino audiences struggling to engage and
create meaning out of open-to-interpretation narratives.
